JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — A tentative deal is in place for Youngstown, Ohio-based JAC Management Group to operate 1st Summit Arena at the Cambria County War Memorial for seven years.
The Cambria County War Memorial Authority unanimously approved the agreement, according to WTAJ media partners at The Tribune-Democrat. JAC will also manage the North Central Recreation Center in the Ebensburg area and the Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center in Johnstown.
No financial details of the arrangement were made public at this time. JAC Management Group dates back to the fall of 2007, when, under the previous name of Eric Ryan Productions, it started managing Youngstown’s multi-purpose Covelli Centre on an interim basis.
“We’re very excited to work with them,” Chris Glessner, the War Memorial Authority’s chairman, said. “They’re doing great things in Youngstown. It’s a very similar town to Johnstown. I think they’ll do great things for us.”
